The EcoCenter houses an Atrium/Exhibit Area, Multipurpose Room, Conference Room, Kitchen, Outdoor Patio, a gift shop, and restrooms. Rentals can start as early as 7 a.m. by special arrangement, but must finish by midnight. There is a minimum rental time of 2 hours. Areas you can rent: Multipurpose Room (36.5' x 44.6') - 175 people max without tables - 120 with tables (chairs & tables included) Kitchen (16.8' x 10') - The kitchen facilities include: a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric commercial coffee pots (3 burners), and large coffee maker. For an additional cost, we also have (22) 32oz water pitchers, (22) 64 oz water pitchers, (132) stemless wine/water glasses, (24) thermal coffee servers and (140) coffee cups and coffee supplies. Administrative Conference Room (12' x 17.6') - 16 people max, 8 at table Outdoor Patio (approximately 50' x 25' irregular shaped) - 125 people max Other Services: Added amenities that are free: (136) padded brown meeting room chairs, (40) stackable green chairs, (12) 8-foot tables, map rails with clip strips along the walls, 6'x4' portable magnetic whiteboard/corkboard, an electronic projection screen, easel & flipchart, wireless internet, podium, sound system, coat room and two restrooms. Added amenities at a cost: laptop, projector & cart Food & Beverage Service - The EcoCenter does not provide food or provide any service, but outside catering is welcome. We also do not provide serving dishes, place settings, cookware, or linens. Regarding alcohol please refer to the EcoCenter Rental Application and ask us any questions! Special Programs - You can arrange Programs led by an EcoCenter naturalist for a fee by arrangement. Also, our Executive Director will also gladly give a brief presentation on Myrick Hixon EcoPark with prior arrangement. Assistance: A staff member or volunteer will be available to answer your questions or help with problems from the time of your arrival until your departure. We will do everything possible to make your visit a special and pleasant experience.
